Borussia Dortmund star Christian Pulisic has claimed that he will discuss his future with the club during January.
The 20-year-old American has been linked with a move away from the Bundesliga giants and Liverpool are one of the clubs interested in the attacker, as per the Liverpool Echo.
The report adds that Chelsea are also keeping an eye on the American. Pulisic is one of the brightest players in the German league and was quoted by Sky Sports (h/t Liverpool Echo) saying:
“I’m still focused on Dortmund. We are doing great this season.
“Once the break comes [in January], that is always when I will have to discuss with Dortmund and see about my future.”
The Liverpool Echo adds that the Dortmund chief Michael Zorc claimed the American would stay with the club till the end of the season.
Pulisic would be an excellent addition to the Reds and the player is a known element to Jurgen Klopp. Most of the German’s signings have worked out for Liverpool and even if Pulisic is a little expensive, the youngster has the potential to be one of the best in the world.
The American hasn’t had a great impact for Dortmund this season due to the emergence of Jadon Sancho. However, a move to Liverpool under Klopp could be the perfect antidote to get the attacker going again.
