Borussia Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic has spoken about how players love working under Jurgen Klopp.
The German has been a hit at Anfield, even though we haven’t won a trophy under the former Dortmund manager.
The Liverpool Echo claims that Pulisic is a transfer target for the Reds and the American moved to the Bundesliga club when Klopp was still their manager.
The report adds that Klopp gave Pulisic a taste of training with the first-team, and the American told Goal (h/t Liverpool Echo):
“He was there when I first moved to the club.
“I personally didn’t get to know him too well but I’ve heard stories from some of my team-mates who did and they loved playing for him.
“I was obviously playing with the youth teams at Dortmund, but he was the one who gave me my first professional training session, just to give me a taste of it.”
The American added that he was happy the German was doing well at Liverpool.
“He always accepted me and he was very kind to me, so I will always be thankful for that. I know he’s a great guy, and it’s nice to see him doing so well for Liverpool.”
The report claims that Liverpool saw a £11million bid rejected for the 20-year-old in 2016.
Pulisic would be a wonderful addition to the Reds, and hopefully, with Klopp at the helm, we will get the American soon.
