Andy Robertson led Scotland to an important 3-2 win over Israel in the UEFA Nations League. The win was secured thanks to a hat-trick from James Forrest and helped Scotland gain promotion into League B.
Israel needed to avoid defeat to make it out on top of the group, however, Forrest was in great form for the home side.
The promotion provides Scotland with another chance at Euro 2020 should they fail to reach the tournament through the regular qualifiers.
Scotland making it into League B also gives them a chance of playing against tougher nations with Wales, Germany and Croatia part of this league.
Robertson might not have scored in the game but he helped his side to three wins out of four in their group.
The Liverpool left-back will hope for the three points when we face Watford at the weekend. However, he did have some time to celebrate the win with his fans.
What a great week, 2 wins and topping the group! Great performance by the lads tonight sorry it was nervy at the end 🙈 great support by the fans that showed up, backed us all the way!… https://t.co/YrMTnKcNmI

It was so nervy, but you have come such a long way with commanding the team from LB over the last few months. You and @VirgilvDijk are immense together, but if you can replicate the control at the back, with your quality going forward, Scotland will be the young team to watch.
