Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said he would want to win both the Premier League and Champions League with the Reds.

The German came close to lifting the Champions League last season but we lost in the final. In terms of the league, we have never finished higher than fourth under the manager.

The Reds have made a better start this season and are just a couple of points behind Manchester City after 12 games.

Klopp was speaking to Sky Germany (h/t Express) and claimed winning both titles is ideal for him.

“Liverpool didn’t do it yet.

“For me personally it wouldn’t make such a difference, I would like to have both, that would be my favourite option.”

The Reds are unbeaten in the league and look in decent touch this season without playing exceptional attacking football.

Klopp also has to navigate a tough Champions League group with ties against Paris Saint-Germain and Napoli as our last two games.

It would be amazing to break our Premier League duck under Klopp, and it will be a fantastic race for the title as Manchester City and Chelsea are unbeaten in the league too.

The Reds have come close to lifting the Premier League under Brendan Rodgers and Rafa Benitez in recent seasons, and hopefully, that will finally change under Klopp.
