The 19-year-old was one of the most promising players for Liverpool a couple of years ago, however, things have not gone as planned.
Pearce added that there could be other clubs interested in taking the youngster on loan in the winter window, and the attacker needs to play regularly if his development is to continue.
The Welshman certainly looked the part when he became our youngest goalscorer in a 2-0 League Cup win over Leeds United.
Hopefully, the next transfer will work out for Woodburn and he picks up regular minutes for his new side. Jurgen Klopp has provided ample opportunities for players to develop at Anfield and we are seeing a couple of youngsters doing really well.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are regulars in our first-team and Woodburn will hope that he gets to break into our first-team soon.
