Sadio Mane is doubtful for Liverpool’s Champions League clash against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, according to the Liverpool Echo.

The Senegal international is ill, as per the report, and the player will be assessed before any decision is taken on his participation.

The 26-year-old played the entire game in our 3-0 win over Watford and was unlucky not to find the back of the net.

The report adds that Jurgen Klopp will make a decision after a training session on Tuesday morning. Liverpool Echo further adds that Klopp is expected to take part in the press conference today and the attacker could feature.

Not having Mane fit would be a huge blow for the team as we know that a win against the French club will take us into the next round of the tournament.

The Senegal star has seven goals in all competitions for the Reds, but his last goal came in our 4-1 win over Cardiff a month ago.

The Reds defeated PSG at Anfield 3-2 and a similar result will certainly make things easier for us. We should not think about the final group game against Napoli as the Italian side beat us 1-0 in Naples.

Liverpool have not been great in their European away games, and hopefully, we will change that at Parc des Princes on Wednesday.
