The 30-year-old last played for us in the 2-0 loss to Red Star Belgrade at the start of the month, and this has been another injury-affected season for the midfielder.
Lallana has just a couple of starts to his name this season and will miss the trip to France for the Paris Saint-Germain clash.
Klopp was speaking in his pre-match press conference ahead of Wednesday’s game and said (h/t Liverpoolfc.com):
“Adam Lallana is back in training on Thursday, but that is obviously after the game tomorrow.
“The issue is nothing anymore because he is on the way back; it was a minor muscle thing and nothing serious.”
The Englishman hasn’t looked anything like the player that did so well in the manager’s first season at the Reds, and many Liverpool fans wanted the midfielder to leave the club as soon as possible.
