Liverpool were poor in their 2-1 loss to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League and created an unwanted record in the process.

The Reds had already lost two away games in this season’s group stage with Red Star and Napoli getting the better of us, and PSG made it three losses out of three away ties for us.

This was the first time the Reds suffered such a poor showing in Europe, and the away losses stretch back to last season with Liverpool losing to Roma in the second leg of the semi-final.

The Reds have been poor this season and more than the loss against PSG or Napoli, the performances have been an issue. This is not the same team from last season and for some reason, the attack isn’t clicking.

PSG were miles better than us in this tie, and they won almost every second ball. The French team just wanted the win more, and it put them in a great spot to qualify for the next round.

Liverpool still have their fate in their own hands. A win over Napoli by a couple of goals will be enough to send us through, and a 1-0 win will also be enough.

Anfield is known for its incredible European nights, and we would need another one in a couple of weeks.
