Liverpool seem to always get the short end of the stick when it comes to FA Cup draws in recent years. Last season, we faced Everton in the third round before getting knocked out by West Bromwich Albion in the fourth round.
This season, we face another Premier League team in Wolverhampton Wanderers. The newly-promoted side has performed well and even managed to draw against Manchester City earlier in the season.
Wolves might consider this a tie they can win, given that they beat us 2-1 a couple of years ago at Anfield in the fourth round.
The tie would take place at Molineux and a date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but this could be our biggest chance of picking up silverware this season.
The Reds have already been knocked out of the Carabao Cup in the first round and should avoid losing in the first hurdle of the FA Cup too.
However, some fans weren’t happy with the draw and also feared a tough game against the Wolves.
