Former Liverpool midfielder Steven Gerrard also provided his backing to Jurgen Klopp after the German was charged by the FA over his celebrations in the Merseyside derby.
The German celebrated wildly with Alisson after Divock Origi scored a fortuitous goal in the 96th minute. Jordan Pickford made the error in the game, and well, the celebrations didn’t really offend anyone.
The Rangers Twitter account decided to share some of Gerrard’s quotes and they misspelt “Klopp” in one tweet.
🎙️SG: I ran further than Kloop when that goal went in, I’ve never been manager when a last-minute derby winner goes in, don’t be surprised if you see me run further!

“Kloop” certainly is one fun name but the account was quick to apologise for the spelling mistake.
😬 Apologies, Jürgen Klopp for the typo.

The German probably won’t be upset about this error and has a few big games to look up to. We play Napoli next week and follow that up with a clash against Manchester United.

The Reds have been excellent in the Premier League this season, and hopefully, we can progress into the next round of the Champions League with a win over Napoli next week.
