Mohamed Salah was back to his devastating best against Bournemouth as the Egyptian scored a hat-trick at the Vitality Stadium.
The 26-year-old looked like he was still playing from last season as he ran the Cherries defence ragged. His first goal might have been from an offside position, but he reacted quickest to Asmir Begovic’s spill.
The second was a thing of beauty as he resisted going down after a horrible challenge from Lewis Cook to slot past the Cherries keeper.
The third was possibly the pick of the season as he rounded the keeper, and kept his composure to score into the net despite two Bournemouth defenders being on the line.
Cook scored an own goal in between Salah’s second and third strike, and well, the hat-trick took him to 10 Premier League goals this season from 16 games.
The Reds have a crucial Champions League tie against Napoli in midweek and Manchester United in the league after that, but a number of Liverpool fans were ecstatic with the performance from the Egyptian.
Liverpool should go shopping in Rome more often…

Seriously impressive performance.
Fabinho offered LFC great control in midfield, looks to be settling in nicely now after a run of games.
Salah looking back to his razor sharp best, loved seeing him frustrated that he couldn’t grab a 4th goal. What a player. #LFC

Some performance from #LFC to go top of the table. Salah sublime, but solidly supported by Firmino, and the spine of the side was excellent. Over to you, City….
