Liverpool have mixed news ahead of their tie against Bournemouth on Saturday. The Reds come off a great 3-1 win away to Burnley and travel to face a quality Cherries side sitting seventh in the Premier League.

Andy Robertson missed our win over the Clarets in midweek, but Jurgen Klopp claimed the left-back is ready for selection.

Georginio Wijnaldum also did not play in midweek, and the manager had an update about the Dutch midfielder too (h/t Liverpoolfc.com).

“Gini is fine. Robbo played pretty much most of the games, in a very intense position. That’s why we decided to give him eight hours off. He is fine.”

The release from the club adds that Joe Gomez has started his rehabilitation from his left leg fracture suffered in the win over the Clarets.

Another central defender isn’t fit for the clash at the weekend as Dejan Lovren did not play against Burnley either.

Dominic Solanke and Nathaniel Clyne aren’t fit for the game on Saturday, and we have to ensure getting the three points on Saturday.

A win will lift us above Manchester City to the top of the table till the Cityzens play, and they face a tough challenge against Chelsea.

We then face Napoli in the Champions League where only a win can take us into the knockout round of the competition.
