Jurgen Klopp Liverpool training

The big game is upon us on Sunday. Liverpool face Manchester United at Anfield and we must have the upper hand given our recent form.

Liverpool are unbeaten in the Premier League and will remain on top of the table if we defeat the Red Devils.

The Reds also qualified for the next round of the Champions League with a tense 1-0 win over Napoli while United lost to Valencia in midweek.

Liverpool do have some problems with their defence as Joel Matip and Joe Gomez are out injured, and we should see Dejan Lovren start.

Dejan Lovren

The Croatian was seen training with the side, and there was another experienced player training alongside who could feature against the Red Devils.

James Milner

James Milner was taken off against Napoli, and with Trent Alexander-Arnold still carrying a minor knock from midweek, we could see the Englishman fill in at right-back.

Two players who should start on Sunday are Virgil van Dijk and Sadio Mane. The Dutch defender is possibly the best in the Premier League and would want another clean sheet to his name, while Mane should have scored a hat-trick against Napoli and needs to find the back of the net on Sunday.

Of course, it would be impossible for us not to mention Mohamed Salah. The recently crowned BBC African Player of the Year and the Egyptian will want to score one against our biggest rivals.

Alisson

Another player that needs to come up trumps is Alisson. The Brazilian pulled off a magnificent save in the win over Napoli, and similar feats should be expected on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp has never defeated Manchester United in the Premier League, and this is the perfect time to not only beat them but also enhance our title credentials.
