Alisson has been incredible for Liverpool since signing from AS Roma. The Brazilian has made us a tougher team to break down and has had some impossible saves to win us games.
Everton and Napoli will know all about the heroics of the 26-year-old, however, the Brazilian made an error in our win over Manchester United.
We were leading thanks to a Sadio Mane goal and looked comfortable before Alisson spilled a cross from Romelu Lukaku, and Jesse Lingard rushed in to score the equaliser.
That would have been a huge blow to the side but we reacted well in the second half. Xherdan Shaqiri came off the bench to score a pair of priceless goals, and our keeper was quick to thank the Alpine Messi via an Instagram story.
The 26-year-old certainly deserves some slack after a string of impressive performances for the Reds this season. The goal conceded against United was only our seventh from 17 Premier League games, and the Brazilian didn’t let this error faze him much later on.
The result also went on to show the team spirit we have in the side, and the win pushed us back to the top of the table, one point ahead of Manchester City.
