Liverpool had a pretty good chance of facing one of the top European sides in the Champions League round of 16, and we got an interesting tie up against Bayern Munich.
The German giants are a known quantity to Jurgen Klopp, and it will be a brilliant two-legged affair. The former Borussia Dortmund manager has had his run-ins against the Bavarians and hopefully, we get past them.
Bayern aren’t dominating the Bundesliga but they are a quality side with the likes of Manuel Neuer, Robert Lewandowski and Arjen Robben all capable of being match winners, to name a few.
The first leg will take place at Anfield in February with Virgil van Dijk missing out due to a suspension while the return leg takes place in March.
The draw certainly got a lot of people talking and many Liverpool fans were confident of knocking out the Bundesliga side.
