Liverpool facing Bayern Munich has to be one of the biggest Champions League clashes of this season.

The two European giants have a lot of pedigree when it comes to the Champions League/European Cup, and we are in for a treat when they meet in February and March.

The Reds are leading the Premier League and look a quality side but Manuel Neuer believes we are “vulnerable”.

The Bayern keeper was speaking after the draw was made (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“They’re having a very good season and we know they were in the Champions League final last year.

“They certainly won’t be delighted with the draw, either. They can counter quickly and they’re dangerous in front of goal, but they’re also vulnerable, as we’ve seen, and they’ll be up against a good Bayern attack.”

The Reds might have struggled to make it out of the group but we have been close to perfect in the league. Liverpool have only conceded seven goals in 17 Premier League games, and many fans took offence to Neuer’s recent comments.
