Paris Saint-Germain star Adrien Rabiot isn’t signing for Barcelona, according to the Catalan giants (h/t Mirror).

Reports (h/t Mirror) claimed that the 23-year-old was set to join the Catalans after his contract ends with the Ligue 1 side, but this has been rubbished by the La Liga side.

The report adds that Liverpool are interested in the midfielder, and Rabiot is free to speak to foreign clubs in January.

The 23-year-old certainly has attracted a lot of attention in recent months, and PSG could make some off him by selling the Frenchman in January.

Rabiot could leave on a free at the end of the season, and it will be interesting to see what happens with the Frenchman once the transfer window opens.

The midfielder would be a quality signing for any side and he would fit into our playing style easily. The Reds are blessed with several options for the middle of the park, but the likes of Adam Lallana and James Milner over 30, Rabiot could be part of the Liverpool side for a number of years.
