Chelsea have moved ahead in the race to sign Nabil Fekir, according to L’Equipe (h/t Mirror). The report claims that Maurizio Sarri’s side have opened talks to sign the Lyon attacker and have asked agent Pini Zahavi to bring the player to the Blues.
The report adds that Lyon want to keep the 25-year-old in January even though he has just 18 months left on his current deal.
The Frenchman is one of the most exciting players in Ligue 1 and even picked up the World Cup with France in the summer.
Liverpool were linked with a move for the Frenchman in the summer (h/t Independent) and with Chelsea interested in the 25-year-old, some fans thought we should try and sign the Frenchman instead.
We have shaq and Keita enough creativity in the midfield, Bobby as well. We don’t really need Fekir. Werner is a top priority

It’s not about how we rate players, if klopp wants fekir, LFC should get him, there were divided opinions on Shaqiri, Robertson, and to some extent on Van dijk too. See how wrong we were, if klopp wants Shane Long I trust him 😀

Apparently
Doesn’t matter anyway. Someone similar to Fekir will arrive and not Coutinho.

Right, is #Fekir joining #LFC or not? Bored of hearing it all again now. #YNWA #LFCFamily #LiverpoolFC

We’re a Nabil Fekir away from winning the league #LFC

Nabil Fekir would be absolutely perfect in a 4-2-3-1 for Jurgen Klopp. He just slots in between Mane and Salah with Bobby up top.
At the moment, Firmino playing deep as a 10 limits him from what he does best up field.
Fingers crossed we do business in January. #LFC #YNWA

Dying to see #Fekir in #LFC shirt on the pitch
