Xherdan Shaqiri didn’t start in the win over Wolves but the Swiss looked upbeat for the Newcastle tie.
Dejan Lovren has done a great job alongside Van Dijk and the Liverpool defender should start for us against the Magpies.
Alisson has been one of the stars of the season and the Brazilian would want to keep a clean sheet against Rafa Benitez’s men.
The Brazilian should be duly helped by another of our stars in Andy Robertson. The Scot is possibly the best left-back in the league and was pictured alongside Sadio Mane.
Jordan Henderson did a brilliant job in our previous clash and the Englishman was pictured training with Adam Lallana and a few others as we prepared for Newcastle.
The Magpies won’t be easy opponents with our former manager Benitez in charge. However, Liverpool should have enough quality and firepower to get one over the away side.
