Virgil van Dijk was the star of the show in our 2-0 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers. The Dutch giant was brilliant at the back and even scored his first Premier League goal for us since joining from Southampton.
The 27-year-old has turned our defence around this season with the team conceding just 7 goals from 18 Premier League games.
Liverpool’s defensive fortitude has helped them to the top of the Premier League but Van Dijk is surely the player of the season for us so far.
🎵 He’s our centre-half…

The Liverpool account posted a highlights package of the centre-back having the ball at Molineux. Van Dijk seems to be extremely quick off the block as he easily beat Adama Traore to a ball.
Suffice to say, several Liverpool fans were impressed by the Dutchman’s latest outing and praised him for his performance.
Virgil “Rolls Royce” Van Dijk is an absolute monster who has massively improved the side since his first game. Got to be a strong shout for player of the year if he carries on like he is.

I think they’ve just taken a whole load of Paolo Maldini’s genes, created Van Dijk and just gave him a ball as soon as he entered the world.
