Liverpool could be back in the running to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot, according to Paris United (h/t Mirror).

The French midfielder has refused to sign a new deal with PSG, and the report claims that manager Thomas Tuchel has “banished” the 23-year-old from the club’s dressing room.

Rabiot had his heart set on a move to Barcelona at the end of the season on a free, but the report adds PSG will not allow the player to dictate terms and could offload him in January.

The Reds have been tipped to make a bid for the midfielder in January, and PSG’s anger with the player could work in our favour.

We have signed a PSG player earlier too with Mamadou Sakho joining a few years ago. Liverpool have several options in midfield but someone of Rabiot’s quality should not be passed upon.

The report claims that former PSG boss Unai Emery is also interested in a player he managed at the Ligue 1 giants.

The Gunners boss has done well with Arsenal this season and could do with someone like Rabiot in the team.

The Reds lead the Premier League and a few quality signings in the winter window could take us to another level.

The French midfielder would come on the cheap given he is out of contract at the end of the year, and Jurgen Klopp should contemplate signing the 23-year-old.
