Jurgen Klopp has responded to Alberto Moreno’s comments about a lack of game time, and didn’t find a problem with the Spaniard.
The left-back spoke to the Spanish press on Thursday, claiming he was unhappy with his minutes this season (h/t Mirror).
However, the Liverpool manager was pleased with what he had seen of Moreno in training and claimed he was willing to speak to any player (h/t Mirror):
“I’m still not prepared to say things about it. My door is always open for people to speak to me.
“Alberto is not happy with having that much minutes? He never shows that in training sessions. He is a fantastic professional.”
The 26-year-old has seen his place in the team be taken by Andy Robertson, and the Scot has been fantastic for us since last season.
Moreno has a couple of Premier League starts to his name this season, but those have come due to Klopp resting Robertson, or when the Scot was injured.
The 26-year-old hasn’t impressed much at Anfield since his switch from Sevilla and like every professional, he would want more minutes on the pitch.
Moreno is a decent option to have till the end of the season, and it will be interesting to see who could act as back-up for Robertson next season.

The Scot is one of the best left-backs in the world and we need someone of quality to provide competition to Robbo.
