Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Liverpool

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain continues his rehab and the Liverpool account is sharing as much information about the 25-year-old as possible.

The Ox’s season last time around was curtailed after a serious knee injury against AS Roma, and Jurgen Klopp claimed it would have been a bonus if the Englishman played for us this season (h/t Sky Sports).

However, the Englishman has made a lot of progress in recent weeks, and Klopp believed the Ox could return sometime in February or March if things pan out (h/t Sky Sports).

This would be excellent news for us as the 25-year-old’s dynamism in midfield would give Klopp another dimension in the team.

The German has rotated his side around well this season with the midfield seeing several changes to great effect.

The Reds have a seven-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table, and we could do with more attack-minded players in the second half of the season. The Ox could also provide some respite to our front three as he is capable of playing on the wings.

However, we should not look to push the midfielder ahead of schedule and let things be taken one step at a time.

The Englishman was in great form before his knee injury, and many Liverpool fans were excited about the former Gunner returning to the line-up soon.
