Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp believes that Adam Lallana has a role to play at the club despite several injuries in recent seasons. The 30-year-old has just three starts to his name this season and hasn’t registered a goal or an assist this season.

The Reds lead the Premier League table and Klopp believes Lallana is in great shape. The manager added that the Englishman could play four games in a day because of his love for the game.

Klopp further claimed the player always accepts the decision of the manager (h/t Daily Star):

“He is in the best moment since I’ve known him as a person and he will have a big part of our season. That’s cool.

“He always accepts my decisions but then it is about what you make of them, if you are in or out.”

Klopp has mixed things up in the Liverpool team this season, with Naby Keita and Fabinho starting several games. Xherdan Shaqiri has been an excellent signing too, with the Swiss coming off the bench and scoring some important goals.

Lallana’s injury problems started last season but he is possibly the most technically gifted player we have in the team.

Liverpool have several games to go in the second half of the season, and we would need every player to be fit as we fight Manchester City for the Premier League title.
