Jurgen Klopp has claimed that winning the FA Cup won’t be enough to stop questions related to our lack of Premier League success. Liverpool lead the table by four points, with Man City chasing us tightly.

Klopp hasn’t had a great time in the FA Cup, with Liverpool having reached only the fourth round in three tries and spoke about the need to win trophies (h/t Liverpool Echo):

“When people talk to me about silverware, it’s as though we have to get each little thing.

“If we had won the FA Cup, then people would say we hadn’t won the Premier League for 125 years. That’s how it is.”

The German added that he could not speak about winning the FA Cup since it was just the first game for us. Our manager didn’t want to play down the tournament and claimed it was important, and wanted the team to play with the right mindset.

Liverpool are expected to make a few changes in the team to face Wolves, with Simon Mignolet and Alberto Moreno guaranteed to start.

Klopp lamented that we had one of the toughest draws, against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup and this could be another big test for the side.

However, this tie should not distract us from our main objective of picking up the Premier League, as this is one of the best chances we will ever have of breaking the duck.
