Jurgen Klopp fielded a much-changed Liverpool team against Wolverhampton Wanderers in the FA Cup with the likes of Curtis Jones, Rafa Camacho, Simon Mignolet, Divock Origi and Daniel Sturridge starting.
The Reds weren’t great in the tie as we lost 2-1 despite bringing on Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino in the second half.
Wolves weren’t brilliant either but goals from Raul Jimenez and Ruben Neves were enough to overcome the Reds.
Divock Origi scored after Jimenez but we didn’t really threaten the home team much. This was another FA Cup loss under the boss but it was understandable that he made so many changes in the starting XI.
Dejan Lovren and Fabinho started in the heart of the defence, but the Croatian limped off due to a hamstring injury after a few minutes.
Ki-Jana Hoever was brought on and had a decent game for the Reds, but we need to get back to winning ways after two defeats in a row.
Liverpool travel to Brighton for our next tie on Saturday, and we should field the strongest line-up to keep our lead at the top of the Premier League.
This loss to Wolves hurt but many Liverpool fans saw the bigger fixture with the Premier League in our sights.
Positives: Ki-Jana Hoever
That is all.

I saw this coming from a mile off. I don’t think Klopp is overly worried.

Prepared for the thickle media to label Liverpool being in a ‘crisis’ because we’ve lost 2 games on the bounce? 👎🏼
This is a blessing in disguise 💪🏼#WolvesLiverpool #WOLLIV #YNWA #FACupDraw #LFC

Should’ve started with the main boys on the pitch gone a few goals up then given the new lads a go. Poor performance but we move on.
