James Milner recently hit the 500 mark in terms of Premier League games, and the Englishman has had quite a journey.
Milner stated his Premier League career with Leeds United and has represented Manchester City, Aston Villa and Newcastle United before joining the Reds.
His most successful time came with the Cityzens as he picked up two Premier League titles, and could get a third if Liverpool remain at the top of the table till the end of the campaign.
Nike provided the Liverpool star with a pair of custom boots for his 500 game achievement and the boots featured all the clubs he played for in the Premier League.
Huge thanks to Nike for this special boot… very proud to have played 500 @premierleague games for some great clubs wearing Nike… & I’m not finished yet 😉 #alwaysinnike#justdoit pic.twitter.com/GPvrtw3AWl

The boots also contained a message “to be continued” and frankly, Milner hasn’t looked out of his depth in this Liverpool side despite being 33.
Jurgen Klopp has used the Englishman well in our midfield, though the performance against Wolverhampton Wanderers was a little disappointing as we exited the FA Cup.
Milner has always put the club first and has been deployed as a full-back too. A couple of years ago, the Englishman was the first-choice left-back at Liverpool as Alberto Moreno struggled for form.

It would be great if Milner continues playing for a number of seasons at Liverpool. There are few professionals in the game like him, and it would be an incredible achievement if he can celebrate a third Premier League crown and our first, at Anfield.
