Liverpool will face immense competition from two Premier League sides for Trabzonspor youngster Abdulkadir Omur, according to the Express.

The 19-year-old has impressed for the Turkish side this season and even spoke about a move to Liverpool (h/t Express):

“Liverpool is a very important club. But the most important thing is Trabzonspor’s interests. If my club tell me that I can go, I’ll go.”

The rising star is a target for Manchester City and Bournemouth, according to the report, with City and Liverpool having scouted the 19-year-old Turk.

The report adds that Liverpool will only move for Omur should they lose former Southampton star Adam Lallana. Fenerbahce and Southampton are interested in the Englishman (h/t Express). The Englishman has had his injury troubles over the past seasons and missed our 1-0 win over Brighton on Saturday.

Adam Lallana Liverpool

Lallana is one of the most technically gifted players in the team, but he seems to be missing more games than playing them.

Liverpool always seem to have someone injured, with Daniel Sturridge staying injured for the majority of the campaign last time around.

Omur would be a decent option to have in the side but it is to be seen how well he does in a tougher league. The Premier League will be a real test for the Turk, and it will be interesting to see where the youngster ends up should Trabzonspor decide to sell.
