Juventus star Paulo Dybala named Liverpool as one of the sides he did not want to face in the Champions League.
The Turin giants qualified from a group containing Manchester United, Young Boys and Valencia and are aiming to pick up the title this season.
Juventus have lost a couple of finals in recent seasons and made one of the biggest transfers this year by signing Cristiano Ronaldo from Real Madrid.
The Portuguese has hit the ground running with Dybala aiding him in the attack. The Argentine was speaking to Telefoot (h/t Express) and was happy to have avoided Liverpool in the round of 16.
However, the attacker wasn’t best pleased with who they are to face in the first knockout round:
“The Champions League is the main objective for us this season.
“And we’ll do everything we can to win it.
“Atletico Madrid are, along with Liverpool, the worst side we could’ve picked in the draw.”
Atletico also have some history in the Champions League losing twice to Real Madrid in recent years while we made it to the final last season, and were defeated by Real too.
Juventus will find it difficult to get the better of Atletico under Diego Simeone, and his fear about facing us is a confidence boost ahead of our tough clash.
Liverpool face Bayern Munich in the round of 16, and it should be a cracking game between two of the biggest teams in the world.

The Reds seem to be in great form in the Premier League, and we need to be at our best to defeat the Bavarian giants.
