Andy Robertson is the latest Liverpool star to pen a contract extension this season. The Scot has been incredible since making the switch from Hull City and possibly is the best left-back in England.
The 24-year-old followed Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Jordan Henderson, Joe Gomez and Roberto Firmino into signing new deals, and the Scotland captain is set for great things at the club.
The left-back told Liverpoolfc.com that his aim was to win trophies, something that Liverpool haven’t done in a long time.
The Reds are in a fantastic position in the Premier League holding a lead over Manchester City, and it will be important for the team to keep picking up the wins as the season progresses.
There is no doubt that Robertson has the potential to get even better in the coming years, and we certainly have a great core to this team with Virgil van Dijk and Alisson performing brilliantly this season.
Robertson is known for his incredible energy down the left, and his crosses are top notch too.
Liverpool have a tough Champions League round of 16 clash against Bayern Munich, but we have more than a chance of beating the Germans if we play to our best.
The Scot has been one of the unsung heroes at the club since his signing from Hull, and many Liverpool fans celebrated the contract extension of the 24-year-old.
