Jurgen Klopp “feels” for those fans that want Liverpool to lose

Jurgen Klopp

Jurgen Klopp has claimed that he feels for those people who want Liverpool to fail in their bid for a Premier League title.

The Reds lead the league ahead of Manchester City and the German claimed he would not use the “siege-mentality” tactics used by Sir Alex Ferguson when Manchester United were looking to beat the others for league titles.

The Mirror quoted the German saying that he loves winning because he wants to do well and not because others have to lose.

The German added that he doesn’t get a “boost” from others losing and felt for those who want Liverpool to lose:

“If people think like that and gain something out of the fact that we will not win the league, I feel for them. I cannot use them for motivation because they are not people I am interested in, to be honest.

“It is a waste of time for me to think of anybody losing something. If you win it, you win it, and you deserve to. ‘Congratulations. Carry on.’ That is how I see it.”

The Reds have gone 29 years without winning the league title and picking up the Premier League would instantly make Klopp a Liverpool legend.

We have a great chance of achieving something great under the German, but we cannot celebrate yet as there is a long way to go before the season ends.

Manchester City have a stronger team than we do, but the Reds have been playing out of their skin in. this campaign.

Klopp has a tough job on his hands to keep the Reds going, however, the German has gotten more things right for us than wrong since taking over at Anfield.
