Manchester United are interested in Joao Felix and are gathering reports on the 19-year-old sensation, according to Record (h/t Metro).
The Benfica youngster is one of the hottest properties in Portuguese football. The Metro has claimed that Liverpool bid £61million for the attacker, which was rejected by Benfica.
Felix is capable of playing on both sides of the attack and has done pretty well as the second striker for Benfica this season.
The report adds that the youngster has a release clause of £106million, which would be a Portuguese transfer record if a club sign the attacker.
There is a lot of interest in Felix with the report adding that Barcelona and Manchester City are also keeping tabs on the 19-year-old.
Liverpool have spent greatly under Jurgen Klopp but most of the big-money signings have been experienced players.
Alisson had starred with AS Roma before signing for the Reds while Virgil van Dijk was excellent with Southampton. The pair was purchased for record-breaking fees and it will be interesting to see if we are willing to do the same for Felix.
The 19-year-old has bags of potential but we could spend his release clause on two quality players and shore up the attack.
Felix would provide us with another option in the attack and could turn out to be a world-class star under the right manager.

The Reds have done extremely well in the transfer market under Klopp, and hopefully, we will keep doing the same in the coming seasons.
