Liverpool are among a host of clubs keeping an eye on Atletico Mineiro right-back Emerson, according to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Mirror).
The 20-year-old is doing a great job with the Brazilian side this season and has attracted interest from 14 European clubs, as per the report.
The report adds that Inter Milan, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Porto are keeping tabs on the Brazilian defender, while there is interest from Premier League pair Arsenal and Watford too.
Barcelona also want to sign the defender in the summer, as per the report, and the youngster has a contract with the Brazilian club until 2022.
The youngster has played 23 league games this season and has notched up one goal and one assist for Atletico Mineiro.
Trent Alexander-Arnold is the first-choice right-back for Liverpool, but the youngster picked up an injury in our 1-0 win over Brighton.
Liverpool loaned out Nathaniel Clyne to Bournemouth for the rest of the season, which leaves us light on senior right-backs.
James Milner was sent off against Crystal Palace, and it will be interesting to see who plays as the right-back against Leicester in a week’s time.
