Fanatik (h/t Mirror) claims that Liverpool have joined a host of Premier League clubs in scouting Omer Faruk Beyaz.
The 15-year-old Turkish starlet was watched by scouts from the Reds, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United, according to the report.
The youngster was on fire in the tournament as he scored four goals and claimed two assists, including a brace in the 2-0 win over Spain in the final of the Aegean Cup.
The report adds that there were other clubs keeping tabs on the starlets with Juventus, Stuttgart, Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich all impressed with Beyaz.
The youngster plays for Fenerbahce and it will be interesting to see if any of the big clubs make a move for the rising talent.
The Reds haven’t had many Turkish talents at the club in recent years, but we can also do with more quality in the academy.
It is a long way to go before Beyaz can be considered as a top talent, but Liverpool have done well with youngsters under Jurgen Klopp.
Rafa Camacho, Curtis Jones and Ki-Jana Hoever being the next set of talents coming through the system.
