Former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt is the latest player to be confirmed for the legends game between the Reds and AC Milan.
Liverpoolfc.com confirmed that the former striker would don the jersey once again in the special match to raise funds for the LFC Foundation.
Kuyt spent six years at the club, scoring 71 goals in 285 appearances and scored in the 2-1 loss to Milan in the 2007 Champions League final.
Kuyt wasn’t the most prolific scorer we had at Anfield in the Premier League era, however, the Dutch striker was known for his energy on the pitch.
The former Feyenoord striker didn’t win many trophies with the Reds but has great memories. Kuyt even bagged a hat-trick against Manchester United.
Memories of 2005 against Milan in Istanbul still remain fresh for most fans. Those memories will be revisited as the likes of Daniel Agger, Jamie Carragher, Jerzy Dudek, Luis Garcia and Robbie Fowler will participate in the fixture.
The match will be held on March 23 and the away side will feature some finalists from 2005. Paolo Maldini, Andrea Pirlo, Gennaro Gattuso and Kaka are set to take the stage for this clash.
