Kyle Walker created a bit of a storm on Twitter when he shared a Harry Maguire meme. Liverpool were held to a 1-1 draw by Leicester City in which the Foxes defender scored.
The draw meant we extended the lead over the Cityzens to five points. The meme was a picture of Maguire telling some fans that he stopped the Reds from extending their lead to seven points.
Jurgen Klopp weighed in on the controversy by claiming that he would never celebrate a rival team dropping points.

The Reds are in a bitter battle against Manchester City in the race for the Premier League, and every point will be crucial as we look to win the title for the first time in many years.
City have the chance of closing the gap as they play before we do in this week’s round of fixtures, and it will be interesting to see how they do against Arsenal.
Liverpool have a tough game against West Ham, however, the Hammers are dealing with several injury problems at the moment.
Walker tried to calm things down by deleting the tweet from his account. However, many fans took a shot at the former Tottenham star, and here are some of the best reactions from the Liverpool fans.

It’s actually incredibly insightful. I should imagine Pep will be beyond furious if this comes to his attention. This shows that City players are more than aware and thinking about us – the very thing Pep is claiming they are not. Goes someway to explain their mental state!

Glad @kylewalker2 is happy to be 5 points behind @LFC Last year @ManCity finished 25 points ahead of LFC. I don’t think Pep would be impressed with his tweet. Go LFC #YNWA
