Liverpool youngster Liam Millar has revealed that club legend, Sir Kenny Dalglish, still helps the team out in training sessions. The forward joined Kilmarnock on loan last week and claimed that the former player and manager has a presence at Melwood.
The Daily Mail reports that Sir Kenny is a non-executive director at the club, and played for the Reds during our most successful period.
The Scot was one of the best forwards during his playing days, and Miller added that the King helps out with some of the finishing drills (h/t Daily Mail):
“Kenny Dalglish gets involved in our sessions every now and then. He helps us with our finishing and stuff.”
The youngster further added that he has trained with the first-team and heaped praise on our front three.
It does come as a bit of a surprise that Sir Kenny takes some of the training sessions, but the legend has a huge presence at Anfield, and it is great that we can count on him to help the squad out.
The Reds have one of the best attacks in the world, and it is important that they keep banging the goals in for fun this season. Liverpool are leading the Premier League, and face Bayern Munich in the Champions League round of 16.
