Latest Liverpool news: Players participate in Marbella training camp

Liverpool were pictured enjoying their training camp at Marbella as the Reds make full use of their 10-day break between games.

Jurgen Klopp led the team with the cycling part of the camp, and the German would know how important these days could be for the team as they gear up for the important final months of the campaign.

There was some good news for the Reds as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain did his bit in training, while Joel Matip was seen training too.

The defender seems to be the only senior centre-back available at the moment for the Bayern Munich clash as Virgil van Dijk is suspended and others (Joe Gomez and Dejan Lovren) are injured.

Mohamed Salah was in great touch against Bournemouth in our previous game and looked good in training.

Another player who looked great against the Cherries was Naby Keita, and it will be interesting to see how he progresses in the coming weeks.

Roberto Firmino and Jordan Henderson will also be crucial in the game against the Germans, while youngster Rhian Brewster got into the act alongside Daniel Sturridge.

Alisson also has to have a great game to keep Bayern out and it will be important for him to communicate with any back-line Klopp picks on next Tuesday.

Big pressure on the Reds

Liverpool must be under big pressure to perform as they await their first league title in 29 years. However, that did not show in the pictures. Following the Bayern clash is a gigantic trip to Old Trafford coming up for the Reds in the league.

Liverpool have been great all season, and it will be important to perform well in the next two games as it can set the tone for the rest of this season.
