Latest Liverpool news: Mohamed Salah dreams of Premier League title victory with Liverpool

Liverpool star Mohamed Salah has had another fantastic season for the Reds and is in the race for the Premier League Golden Boot.

The former AS Roma man was incredible last season as he won the goal-scoring title but claimed that he dreams of bigger things with Liverpool.

The Egyptian was speaking to ESPN Brazil (h/t Evening Standard) where he claimed that people thought it was crazy that he wanted to win the title:

“It’s a dream, to be honest.

“It was one of my dreams when I came – to win the Premier League. Maybe the people were saying it was crazy, but it was in my mind always to come here and win the Premier League.”

The forward added that he said the same thing last season and this season the Reds are closer to winning the title.

Reds and Blues battle for title

Liverpool and Manchester City are locked in a huge battle for the Premier League crown, and we would need Salah to be firing on all cylinders for the remainder of the campaign.

The Egyptian hasn’t been as clinical as last season, but his goals will be crucial in the coming weeks. Salah added that he was going to give it his all to make the dream come true.

The forward added that there was always going to be pressure on the team to perform and that had been present from the first day of the season.

The Egyptian claimed that it was important to concentrate on one game at a time and be “calm” and play football.
