Kicker (h/t Liverpool Echo) reports that Liverpool target and German winger Julian Brandt can leave Bayer Leverkusen for £25m due to a release clause.
The 22-year-old has been in exceptional form for Leverkusen this season with seven goals and 10 assists from 32 appearances in all competitions.
The report adds that Arsenal are also interested in the German and the youngster is one of the brightest Bundesliga talents at the moment.
Leverkusen as currently seventh in the league after 23 games, and it will be interesting to see if they qualify for Europe next season.
Liverpool don’t have quality options for the likes of Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane in the current side.
The Reds could do with more quality on the wing, and Brandt seems to fit the requirement at the moment. The German is pacey, young and has an eye for goal, which would work well in our current side.
Klopp has built a fantastic first XI but we need more quality in the side. The German has been brilliant with most of his transfers during his Liverpool career, and it will be interesting to see if we can snap up the winger from Leverkusen.
