Liverpool FC transfer news: Juventus meet with Benfica over future move for Joao Felix

Juventus have entered the race to sign Joao Felix from Benfica, according to La Stampa (h/t Sky Sports).

The youngster has been on the rise at the Portuguese club and the report claims that Juventus contacted Benfica over a possible future deal for the attacker.

The report adds that Manchester United are also interested in the Benfica starlet and Liverpool had seen a bid rejected for the 18-year-old.

The Reds had cooled their interest in the youngster after learning of a huge asking price, and it will be interesting to see how Juventus’ interest plays out.

Juventus making big moves

The Italians have made a couple of big moves recently with Cristiano Ronaldo joining them from Real Madrid.

The Portuguese hasn’t been the only big name signing for the Old Lady, with the likes of Gonzalo Higuain and Miralem Pjanic moving on huge deals.

However, Liverpool did their own spending in the summer and even signed Virgil van Dijk for a world-record fee for a defender.

The Reds could do with more quality attackers to provide cover to Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane, and it will be interesting to see our activity once the season ends.
