Latest Liverpool news: Some fans predict big things for young striker duo

Bobby Duncan and Paul Glatzel have been firing goals for fun this season for the youth team at Liverpool.

The pair were in action in the FA Youth Cup as the U18s reached the final after demolishing Bury 5-1.
Jake Cain, Rhys Williams and Duncan got a goal each while Glatzel scored a brace.

The pair of goals took his overall tally for the season to 26 and Liverpool shared an incredible stat regarding our two strikers.

The forwards have now scored 51 goals between them this season, and it is to be seen how things go with them in the coming campaign.

Firepower needed at Anfield?

Duncan and Glatzel are 17 and 18 respectively, and could play some games in the upcoming pre-season. Liverpool also have a few loan stars doing well this season and that should provide Jurgen Klopp with some headaches for next season.

The Reds should start with Roberto Firmino, Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane as the front three, however, we could do with some young blood to help the strike force.

There have been times this season where our front three haven’t done well, and Klopp could give a chance to someone like a Harry Wilson next season too.

Many Liverpool fans were pleased with the progress of the U18 strikers and believed they were set for great things in the future.
