Latest Liverpool news: Some fans surprised about Virgil van Dijk’s tattoos
Virgil van Dijk has easily been our best player this season. The Dutch defender has made our defence the tightest in the Premier League, and even has found the back of the net in the 5-0 hammering of Watford.
The Dutch defender is one of the best in the world and thankfully, he is one of ours. Liverpool’s title challenge has been based on a quality defence and Van Dijk has been at the heart of it.
Liverpool have conceded just 15 goals from 29 Premier League games this season, and have kept four clean sheets in their last four league games.
The former Southampton star collected the Standard Chartered Player of the Month award for February helping us keep three clean sheets and scoring a couple of goals too.
This wasn’t Van Dijk’s first award of the season, but there was one highlight to the image of him posing with the trophy.

The Dutch defender plays wearing an under-shirt which covers his arms. And it came as a bit of a surprise seeing him with a full-length shirt as he collected the award.
Many players flaunt their tattoos when on the pitch, but it is a rarity seeing the Dutchman and his tattoos.
Several Liverpool fans congratulated the star for his award, but many were surprised to learn that he is tattooed too.
