Latest Liverpool news: Fans fret over injury to Trent Alexander-Arnold in 4-2 in over Burnley

Liverpool made light work of Burnley despite surviving some nervy moments. The Clarets scored the first goal of the game, but it should have been ruled out for a foul on Alisson.

The Reds then scored three unanswered goals before the Clarets scored a late goal too. However, Sadio Mane finished the scoring almost with the last kick of the game to give us an important 4-2 win.

Most of the players in the starting XI were brilliant, however, Trent Alexander-Arnold didn’t have the best outing at Anfield.

TAA struggles to find his range

The youngster is known for his devilish crosses and set-piece deliveries, but he seemed to be off the pace today.

Trent got into great positions but his final ball was disappointing, and it was a surprise when he was subbed off with just a few minutes to go.

The commentators stated that the English youngster had a bit of a shoulder problem, and that could be a huge issue given James Milner’s struggles with injury.

We have a massive Champions League clash against Bayern Munich in the midweek, and it will be important for Trent to be 100% against an in-form side.

Liverpool could still play someone else as the right-back, but not many players can cross in the same manner as Alexander-Arnold.

Many fans were fretting over the player’s injury, and here are some of their reactions on Twitter.
