Latest Liverpool news: Bayern Munich train in snow ahead of Champions League clash

Liverpool could be in for a storm at the Allianz Arena as Bayern Munich prepared for the midweek clash in the snow.

The English Twitter account of the Bundesliga giants posted a video highlighted their players training in the snow.

The account also posted a video of their training ground in Sabener completed engulfed in snow.

It will be interesting to see how we deal with the elements on Wednesday. Liverpool did pretty well against Burnley at the weekend though.

The wind certainly played its part during the game as it affected some of the lofted passes while the Reds played through a mini hailstorm in the first half.

Reds come back to prove a point

Munich have been in great form domestically, but Liverpool proved that they won’t let Manchester City run away with the Premier League title yet.

The Reds have seen the Cityzens usurp them in recent weeks and had to come from a goal down to beat Sean Dyche’s men at Anfield.

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino scored braces in the 4-2 win as the Reds controlled most of the tie.

There were moments where Burnley troubled us and we have to ensure that the Bavarians don’t score on Wednesday.

Virgil van Dijk returning to the team for the second leg is a huge boost ahead of the tie. Hopefully, we keep things tight at the back, as we did in the reverse fixture against the Germans.
