Latest Liverpool news: Liverpool all smiles ahead of Premier League clash against Fulham

Liverpool will be high on confidence after their 3-1 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

The performance was excellent as we overcame the Bundesliga giants and set up a quarter-final clash against Porto.

The Reds were lead brilliant at the back by Virgil van Dijk, who also scored a goal in the win over Bayern.

The defender has built a great partnership with Joel Matip, and the pair would want to keep Fulham away from scoring.

Two players who did a lot of running in Munich were Andy Robertson and James Milner. The pair were seen performing some training drills and it will be interesting to see if the midfielder gets a start on Sunday.

Adam Lallana was brilliant in our win over Burnley last time around, and hopefully, he continues his form against the Cottagers.

Salah missing the goals

Mohamed Salah hasn’t scored in his last six games, but he provided a great assist for Sadio Mane in Germany.

It will be interesting to see if Fabinho starts at Craven Cottage after Jordan Henderson was ruled out with an ankle problem.

Georginio Wijnaldum should be a certainty to face the Cottagers while Rhian Brewster also was pictured in training.

The English youngster hasn’t played for the first-team yet but is highly rated by the manager.

Jurgen Klopp was pleased with the result against Bayern in midweek, and the German will expect a similar performance by the Reds against Fulham.

We have the chance of moving ahead of Manchester City in the  table with a win. Anything less than three points will be a huge disappointment against a team that has lost their last five.
