Latest Liverpool news: Sadio Mane breaks Senegal record after goal against Fulham
Sadio Mane is the man in form for Liverpool. The Senegal international has taken over the goalscoring duties from Mohamed Salah and found the back of the net in our 2-1 win over Fulham.
The former Southampton star opened the scoring in the game and headed the ball onto the crossbar in the second half too.
This was his 17th goal in the Premier League this season, and the attacker now holds the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League season by a Senegalese.

That wasn’t enough for Mane though. This was his ninth goal in the league since the turn of the year. The Liverpool star is tied with Sergio Aguero for most Premier League goals scored in 2019.

Milner continues his great scoring record
James Milner might have caused some heart-attacks after Ryan Babel scored for Fulham. However, the Englishman was the match-winner as he converted a penalty late on.
Milner has nerves of steel and this win helped him keep a great record intact. The Englishman has now scored in 51 Premier League games and is yet to end up on the losing side.

Liverpool were a little lucky to come out with the win over Fulham. We dominated possession and had a few quality chances to score but wasted them.
The Reds cannot be this forgiving in front of goal in the remainder of the season. Manchester City have been brilliant and we need to win every game to have any chance of lifting the Premier League crown.

Our next game isn’t easy with Tottenham travelling to Anfield. Hopefully, we beat Spurs and keep the pressure on City after the international break.
