Latest Liverpool news: Sadio Mane shows thumbs-down over Kalidou Koulibaly banner

Sadio Mane is one of the best players Liverpool have signed in the Premier League era.

The former Southampton star has been great since the start of 2019 and has found the back of the net 10 times in 10 games.

The attacker is leading our dual charge for the Premier League and Champions League and recently had a bit of fun with some fans.

The Senegal star was reacting to a banner which asked Kalidou Koulibaly to join Liverpool’s rivals Manchester United.

Mane didn’t take too kindly of his national teammate joining the Red Devils and promptly showed a “thumbs-down” sign several times.

Koulibaly and Mane doing their bits for their clubs

Mane lies just one goal behind Sergio Aguero in the race for the Premier League’s Golden Boot. The Senegalese star is tied with Mohamed Salah on 17 league goals this season and seems to be in the form of his life.

Koulibaly, for his part, has done a great job at Italian side Napoli. The team lies second in the Serie A but saw their Champions League hopes dashed in the group stages thanks to Liverpool’s 1-0 win at Anfield.
