Latest Liverpool news: Serge Aurier a doubt for crucial Liverpool-Tottenham clash

Tottenham have been dealt another blow ahead of their crucial clash against Liverpool with Serge Aurier picking up an injury, according to the Daily Star.

The right-back captained the Ivory Coast in their 3-0 win over Rwanda in an African Cup of Nations qualifier but had to be replaced in the first half.

The report claims that the right-back picked up a hamstring problem and could be out for two-three weeks.

Tottenham have injury concerns ahead of the tie

Aurier’s loss will be a blow to Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and Eric Dier is another Tottenham star who picked up an injury during the international break.

The English midfielder had to be replaced in the 5-0 win over the Czech Republic. Dier will not feature for the Three Lions against Montenegro and is expected to return to Spurs for further treatment.

Losing two first-teamers would be a blow for any side, and hopefully, we can take advantage of the situation at Anfield.
