Liverpool FC transfer news: Reds plan to sell Ryan Kent after great season for Rangers
Ryan Kent has enjoyed a fine season under Steven Gerrard at Rangers after joining on loan.
The former Liverpool captain has helped the Gers to second place in the Premiership behind Celtic.
The Daily Report understands that Gerrard wants to keep Kent next season, however, Rangers face a tough battle given the interest from other clubs.
The 22-year-old has five goals and four assists to his name in the league this season, and the report suggests that Liverpool will sell him for anything between £8m and £10m.
The report adds that Liverpool want to cash in on the player, and this could end any hopes of Rangers signing the English winger next season.
Liverpool trying to make the most of the situation
Kent hasn’t always had a great loan spell and one source told the Daily Record that the Reds don’t want to lose their chance of making some money from the 22-year-old.
“And that’s why Liverpool are reaching the conclusion that this is the best time to sell. This is Ryan’s fifth loan spell so they aren’t likely to run the risk of letting him go out on another one when his value is now higher than it has been at any point.”
The English youngster could do a decent job for a Premier League or Championship club and it is to be seen where he ends up next season after his Rangers spell.

Liverpool have another quality attacker doing well away in Harry Wilson, and hopefully, the Welshman gets to play in the first-team next season.
